This would be a very fancy and different macaroni and cheese recipe, made this time with blue cheese, and some Parmesan and some yogurt to make the cheese sauce.
1 lb. of dry macaroni pasta
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 diced green bell peppers
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
3/4 cup of cream 15 %
1/2 cup of white flour
1/2 cup of natural yogurt
1 1/2 cup of crumbled blue cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan
1. Bring a large pot filled with salted water to a boil. Cook your pasta 8 to 10 minutes in there. Drain, but do not rinse.
2. In a skillet, melt one tablespoon butter, and cook the diced bell pepper bits for 3-4 minutes.
In that same skillet under medium heat setting, now melt the rest of the butter.
Mixing, blend the butter, salt, the black pepper. Cook for one more minute.
Mix in the cream, flour, yogurt, blue cheese and Parmesan. Mix until the cheeses melt and combine to the sauce.
3. Drop the macaroni pasta in the cheese sauce, gently mix to coat the pasta with the sauce.
4. Serve immediately.
Enjoy your meal!
